Hello! My name is Caleb.
I have been shooting for about six years now but haven't always done portrait photography. I started off in high school shooting for the journalism class. Soon after joining that class, I found a huge interest in photography, specifically photojournalism. I started to compete in any competitions I could. I brought home more awards to my school district than I can even count from local and state levels. I competed in sports photojournalism, student photojournalism, and nature photography. I was featured by the Missouri Fish and Wildlife Association, the Missouri Department of Natural Resources magazine, and other media outlets. My senior year of high school I was awarded the title of "One of the Best High School Photojournalists in the State of Missouri" by the Missouri Journalism Education Association (MJEA). After graduating high school, I jumped into the journalism workforce and have been working for the Daily American Republic newspaper for about two years now. I have been shooting portraits for about two year now, also. I take pride in my work and my priorities in my work are to produce sharp images that show the character of the people I am photographing.
